WHEREAS by a Proclamation issued by His Excellency on the 28th day of June, One thousand Nine hundred and five it was stated that the rates of Crown rent for agricultural and building lands, for those whose rights had been recognised by the Land Court would be as follows:-

in New Kowloon.

Cultivated Land.

First Class good Padi Land for each English acre (i.e. 4.8 mau)...... $1.50

Second Class: Medium Padi Land for each English acre (i.e. 4.8 mau)...... $1.00

Third Class: Other cultivation for each English acre (i.e. 4.8 mau).. $0.50

Land occupied by houses.

First Class: per acre... $250.00

Second Class: per acre... $150.00

Third Class: per acre... $100.00

in the remainder of the New Territories.

Cultivated land.

First Class: Good Padi land for each English acre (i.e. 4.8 mau)...... $3.
